Titanium foil is a high-performance material made from pure titanium metal that is known for its excellent corrosion resistance, low density, and high strength-to-weight ratio. It is available in various grades, including Grade 1, Grade 2, Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V), and Grade 9 (Ti-3Al-2.5V), each with unique properties and applications.
Titanium foil is commonly used in industries such as aerospace, medical, chemical, and electronics, where its exceptional properties make it ideal for manufacturing components that require high strength, low weight, and resistance to corrosion. In aerospace, titanium foil is used to make lightweight structural components such as airframe parts, heat shields, and thermal barriers. In the medical industry, titanium foil is used for implantable medical devices such as dental implants, pacemakers, and artificial joints, due to its biocompatibility, corrosion resistance, and low modulus of elasticity.
Titanium foil is a versatile material that offers excellent mechanical and chemical properties, making it a popular choice for various industries that require high-performance materials.

It is reported that Italian ship owner Caronte & Tourist has selected LMG Marin, a ship design company based in Bergen, Norway, to design a new LNG-powered large double-headed ferry.
The new ferry will be designed in the LMG 290-DEG style, 133 meters long and 21.5 meters wide. The two-story car deck on board can transport 290 cars and 1,500 passengers. The ship's propulsion system will be based on a gas-electric system with three dual-fuel engines. The new ferry is expected to be delivered in 2018 and will be built by the Sefine Shipyard in Turkey.
LMG Marin said it will be the first ferry in the Mediterranean to use LNG as fuel.
