It is understood that the provinces and cities promoted by the Guangdong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission have jointly built advanced manufacturing bases, including three pillars: the pillar industries of the province, the strategic industries, the construction of regional pillar industries, the construction of characteristic industries, and the construction of major industrial projects. .

According to the Guangdong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission official, after the joint construction base is determined, priority will be given to the processing of tax exemption for imported equipment for technological transformation projects; coordination will be made to prioritize the construction of supporting power supply and grid construction and transformation of the project; during the peak season of power usage, priority will be given The project power supply, as well as the priority support for the project enterprise technology center construction, etc., and give certain support in the financial special funds.

According to reports, there are currently 20 auto parts manufacturers in Zhaoqing, and the products are mainly concentrated in automobile engines. The main products are mainly related to the cylinders, cylinder heads, cylinder covers, housings, pistons, cylinder liners, and air intake of various types of automotive engines. Manifolds, valves, connecting rods, and automotive accessories have become one of the important auto parts industrial bases in the province. Some auto parts manufacturers have a leading position in the domestic R&D level and production capacity in the domestic industry.

According to the agreement and co-construction plan, the Guangdong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission will arrange 90 million yuan in co-ordinating support funds. The local municipal government will also provide matching projects in a certain proportion to support the development of Zhaoqing auto parts industry.
