Five people were injured when an explosion occurred in a gas pot in Yinchuan

At about 10 o'clock last night, a gas tank explosion occurred at the Ba Dao Xiang Hot Pot Restaurant in Lishui Hometown, Xinhua East Street, Xingqing District, Yinchuan City. Five people were injured in various degrees and sent to the Yinchuan City Emergency Center.

The reporter saw at the scene of the accident that fire engines and ambulances had left, and the police in Xingqing District would block the scene. Badao incense pot shop in addition to the complete number of doors, the upper and lower doors and windows were exploded by the explosion of air flow, "lying" 10 meters in front of the door. The shards of glass splayed out across the doorway and spread across the green belt on the opposite road. The shop was dark, with a table at the door and two "legs" being blown. The hot pots on the table disappeared. A buggy was parked in front of the door and the body was full of broken glass. A chair and a gas tank were scattered 20 meters from the entrance.

According to the owner, Ms. Yang, the shop sent three new gas tanks before the incident. One of the tanks suddenly leaked before the explosion. The room was full of gas smell. The staff quickly hauled the air tank out of the table and moved it out. At that time, there were no customers in the store. Ms. Yang let the staff run outside the store and exploded in an instant. "I didn't know what caused the explosion. At the time, no one in the store smoked," said Ms. Yang.

An eyewitness on the scene told reporters that at the time of the incident, he was eating supper at the next-door shop. Hearing a loud explosion, he went out and saw several customers sitting at the entrance to eat hotpots and had many glass chips on his face and arms. Someone was scalded with hot pot soup on his face. Another witness said that after the explosion, a female employee walked out of the shop with blood on his face and was sent away by an ambulance. “This shop has just opened in less than a week and there are not many customers. If it is an old shop, there will be more people who may be injured,” said one onlooker.

According to the police, the death of the person caused by the accident has not yet been discovered. The cause of the accident is currently being investigated.
