1. Put on overalls and long hair in a hair cap. Do not wear gloves for operation.
2. The loading and unloading of the chuck on the lathe spindle must be performed after the machine is stopped. Do not use the power of the motor to remove the chuck.
3. It is best to use a protective cover for the chucks and dials that hold the workpiece so as not to wring the clothes or other parts of the body. If there is no protective cover, attention should be paid to maintaining a certain distance during operation.
4. When using a top-mounted workpiece, it should be noted that the center of the top center and the center hole of the spindle should be exactly the same, and the broken or skewed top should not be used. The top and center holes should be wiped clean before use. The top of the tailstock should be topped.
5. When turning slender workpieces, in order to ensure the safety of operation and processing quality, the center frame or the knife holder should be used. For the processing part beyond the range of the lathe, the mobile protective cover and the safety sign should be set.
6. When turning irregularly shaped workpieces, balance blocks should be installed and then cut after trial turning.
7. The tool holder should be securely clamped. The protruding part of the cutter head should not exceed 1.5 times the height of the cutter body. The shape and size of the washer under the cutter should be consistent with the shape and size of the cutter body. The spacer should be as small as possible and flat.
8. In addition to measuring tools that are automatically measured during operation on the lathe, the machine should be stopped and the tool holder moved to a safe position before measuring the workpiece.
9. Banded chips or spiral long chips produced during cutting should be removed in time using hooks. Never use them with hands.
10. To prevent chips from being broken, transparent baffles should be installed in place (transparent
protecting mask).
11. When it is necessary to grind the surface of the workpiece with emery cloth, move the tool to a safe position and be careful not to let the hand and clothing touch the work surface. When grinding the inner hole, do not hold the emery cloth with your fingers. Use wooden sticks. The speed should not be too fast.
12. It is forbidden to place the tool, jig or workpiece on the lathe bed and the spindle gearbox.
13. Dials and chucks shall be equipped with a movable protective cover. The light bars and screws may be provided with a telescopic protective cover. The belts and hanging wheels are generally equipped with an interlocking protective cover when the lathe is delivered from the factory.
14. Normally perform tool setting.
(1) If the tool setting method is incorrect, the turning tool may break or chip. Pieces of broken blades flying out of the blade can injure the operator. Therefore, the length of the turning tool on the tool holder should not be too large, and the extension length is too large. The cutting force will cause vibration and cause the blade edge to fly and hurt. If the installation height of the outer turning tool is too high, it may cause the "knife" to chip, and it is more likely to cause chipping when the tough carbide turning tool is used.
(2) When boring holes in the lathe, the tool tip should be slightly higher than the work center, so as to avoid the phenomenon of tie knife caused by the elastic deformation of the tool system under the action of the cutting force.
First, the operating safety requirements of turning
