For many years, Beiqi Foton, which has been sitting in the top spot of domestic commercial vehicles, has lost its sales to Dongfeng. Dongfeng commercial vehicles (generalized) have finally become the leader in domestic commercial vehicles.
Statistics from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers show that in January 2011, the Dongfeng brand commercial vehicle sales were 56,100 units, an increase of 41.20% year-on-year; Foton sales were 49,100 units. There were 20,400 vehicles, 19,100 vehicles, 17,600 vehicles, 14,900 vehicles, 13,100 vehicles, and 11,700 vehicles.

Compared with the same period of 2010, Beiqi Foton, FAW and Chongqing Changan The trend is declining. Other companies continue to maintain growth. The growth rates of Jiangling and Dongfeng are even more pronounced. In January 2011, the above-mentioned ten companies sold 254,900 commercial vehicles, accounting for 70% of the total commercial vehicle sales.
Looking at the entire automotive industry, in January 2011, the domestic automobile production and sales reached 1.797 million and 1.894 million, respectively, which represented a year-on-year increase of 11.33% and 13.81% respectively; the chain production decreased by 3.58% and sales increased by 13.67%. From the data of January 2011, it can be seen that although monthly sales reached a record high, the overall increase has dropped sharply, and the chain production has declined.
