Arvin Meritor Light Truck Parts Business will be sold before the end of the year

ArvinMeritor (ArvinMeritor) company recently said it will sell by the end of 2010 light-vehicle parts business of its remaining assets to completely withdraw from the market, specializing in commercial vehicle components.

ArvinMeritor has sold a large amount of assets in the loss-making light vehicle parts business last year.

In the fourth quarter of 2009, sales of the light vehicle parts business accounted for only about 30% of ArvinMeritor’s total sales ($1.1 billion). In 2003, this business accounted for 70% of ArvinMeritor’s total business.
