Weichai Heavy Machinery MAN27/38 was awarded CCS Type Approval Certificate

Recently, the MAN27/38 diesel engine introduced by Weichai Heavy Machinery has successfully obtained the type approval certificate issued by China Classification Society (CCS), and the product has also obtained the emission approval certificate meeting the requirements of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Class II emission.

It is reported that after three days of performance testing, demolition and re-testing, Weichai Heavy Machinery MAN27/38 diesel engine successfully passed the on-site audit of the surveyor of China Classification Society. The acceptance team consisting of 11 people including Zhejiang Haijian Corps, 711, Wuchang Shipyard and Shipowner participated in the test audit and fully affirmed the high quality performance of the product.

The acquisition of CCS type approval certificate indicates that Weichai Heavy Machinery has reached the international level in the production design, process flow and product quality of MAN27/38 diesel engine, and will play an active role in further enhancing corporate reputation and market competitiveness.
