Hailanxin communication equipment successfully used in "Offshore Oil 981"

On May 9, China's first deepwater drilling platform “Offshore Oil 981” successfully drilled in the South China Sea, officially kicking off the curtain of China's offshore oil deepwater strategy. “Offshore Oil 981” is the sixth generation 3000m deepwater semi-submersible drilling platform independently designed and constructed by China. It represents the highest level of offshore oil rig technology in the world today and can be called the “aircraft carrier” of offshore equipment. As a leading technology provider of marine electrical and information products, Hailanxin has successfully passed the public bidding to provide marine data acquisition equipment and services for “Offshore Oil 981”.

After field visits and repeated argumentation and combined with the characteristics of the "Ocean Oil 981" project, Hailanxin personalized the interface design and functional module design of the equipment data collection box, which solved many technical problems and finally successfully completed the equipment. The installation and commissioning guarantee the smooth delivery of China's new generation of semi-submersible drilling rigs. The successful application of Hailanxin's navigation equipment in “Offshore Oil 981” has made Hailanxin stand out in the field of high-end shipbuilding.

At present, the single technology in the domestic deep-sea oil and gas drilling field has reached the world's advanced level, but the offshore high-end ship matching products are relatively few, the technical comprehensive strength is insufficient, and the industrial development is slow. Since its listing in 2010, Hailanxin has actively explored the offshore equipment market, strengthened exchanges and cooperation with major domestic research institutions and internationally renowned ship navigation companies, continuously enhanced its independent research and development capabilities, and launched new products in line with international IMO standards.
