This year, the company's production and sales exceeded the 360,000 units and achieved sales of 9 billion yuan, an increase of 44% and 19% year-on-year. According to reports, the main equipment of the newly built CA6DM engine production line (see figure) has been imported from German GROB company. The annual production capacity has formed 15,000 sets. It is a modern production line with excellent equipment, advanced technology, first-class domestic and international standards. The completion and demonstration of the strength of independent development by FAW indicated that the manufacturing technology of Xichai was connected to the international level and a major breakthrough was made in the production methods and production capacity of heavy-duty diesel engines. According to reports, the CA6DM engine uses the world's most advanced design concepts, design methods and modern design processes throughout the management, from the preliminary planning and design to trial production, completely relying on FAW Group's own R & D team to complete, with 3 invention patents and 5 practical New patents have completely shake off the technical monopoly of foreign engine companies and have demonstrated the level of domestic independent research and development and independent innovation. At present, this series of two diesel engines has successfully passed the European Commission's European III product certification, and has obtained a green pass for heavy trucks participating in international competition. The CA6DM engine also became the loading power for the Liberation J6, the 10 millionth off-line vehicle of the year in 2009 in China.
