At the 2014 Cross-Strait LED Application Innovation Forum held yesterday, LED industry experts from both sides of the Taiwan Straits gathered in Xiamen to discuss LED health lighting applications, innovative design and intelligent development. Vice Mayor Huang Qiang attended and delivered a speech.

In 2020, Wu Ling, secretary-general of the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance, which fully popularizes LED lighting, explained the Chinese dream of LED lighting. It is understood that Xiamen has become the strongest and largest manufacturing base of domestic LED epitaxial chips for ten consecutive years and China's largest high-end energy-saving lamps and LED bulb manufacturing and export bases. In March of this year, Xiamen National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering High-tech Industrialization Base successfully passed the review by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and together with Shanghai, it became the only two Class A bases in the national semiconductor lighting field.
