Explanation of the electric control box of the road sweeper, operation method and related matters needing attention

1, the control box panel switch function (Figure 11)

(1) Power switch: It is used to supply power to the PC. Press this button to make the PC work. The power light is on to indicate that it is on.

(2) Pressure switch: Press to increase the side brush pressure.

(3) Light switch: After the rear box is pressed, the warning light flashes.

(4) Start/stop switch: Used to control the start or stop of the cleaning operation. Press to start the operation. Press again to stop.

(5) Left side brush switch: Press the left side brush to work alone, and press the left side wide brush at the same time, then the left side brush and the wide side brush work at the same time.

(6) Right side brush switch: Press the right side brush to work alone, and press the right wide brush at the same time, then the right side brush and the wide side brush work at the same time.

(7) Sweep condition selector switch: Used to select the secondary engine speed, it has three positions, corresponding to the three kinds of secondary engine speed: idle speed 700-800 rev / min; general work 1600-1800 rev / min; enhanced conditions 1900-2100 rev / min. Where "general" and "enhanced" are operating conditions. Normally "normal" operating conditions are used. For particularly intensive waste or for the fastest speed of work, "enhanced" conditions can be used, but working hours are not allowed to be too long.

(8) Start and stop switches: Used to control the starting and stopping of the auxiliary engine. There are three positions: flameout, zero, and starting. Turn the switch to the start position, then the secondary engine starts automatically, and then the key should be screwed back to zero.

(9) Work light switch: When cleaning work at night, the left and right work lights can be opened separately.

(10) Oil pressure indicator: Lights to indicate that the secondary engine oil pressure is too low.

(11) Swing angle indicator switch: It is used to control the left and right swing angles of the wide brush.

(12) Ready indicator light: It is used to indicate whether the electric control system is normal. It is ready to operate when the light is on.

(13) Tachometer: Displays the secondary engine speed.

(14) Water temperature meter: Displays the secondary engine cooling water temperature.

(15) Barometer: Displays the pressure in the pneumatic system.

2. Road sweeper operation steps

(1) Check that all switches on the control box are in the off position, zero position, or intermediate position: the function switch is in neutral; the power take-off switch is in the down position.

(2) Turn on chassis power.

(3) Start the chassis so that the chassis pressure rises to 0.6Mpa and the wide sweeper automatically lifts.

(4) Turn on the PC power switch (power light is on) and the light switch (light on).

(5) Set the operating condition selector switch to the “idle” operating position and turn the key switch clockwise until the secondary engine (observed by the sound and tachometer) releases the key (do not twist it counterclockwise). The ignition time should not exceed 3-5 seconds. An ignition failure can be started again after a while. If the ignition fails for three consecutive times, the cause should be ascertained before starting.

(6) Work light (for night operation).

(7) Set the working status. According to the road conditions, set the working conditions. The set time of the working state is not limited by the operation step. It can be set before the job or temporarily during the job. However, the start/stop button needs to be repeated when the job is temporarily changed.

(8) When the secondary engine water temperature rises to 40°C, press the start stop switch to start the cleaning operation.

3, sweeping vehicles in the operation of the matters needing attention

(1) “Normal” working conditions are the conditions that are frequently used in normal operations. At this time, there is sufficient force to inhale rubbish and other garbage. The “enhanced” working conditions have a stronger suction capability, which can inhale intensive waste or obtain a fast operating speed, but should not be used frequently, and can be used on a regular basis depending on the density of road debris.

(2) When the road surface is dense (ie, thicker dust), the cleaning width should be narrowed and the number of sweeps should be increased to ensure the sweeping effect.

(3) When the operator encounters large pieces of rubbish such as wine bottles and bricks, press the pendulum indicator light switch, and the front of the suction nozzle will tilt upward. After the garbage enters the suction port, reset the swing light switch.

(4) If you need to temporarily suspend the operation, if you encounter a red traffic signal, you can press the “Start and Stop” button to make it stop. The cleaning system will quickly recover and the water spray stops, but the secondary engine continues to operate.

(5) When encountering thick layers or rubbish stuck on the road surface, press the “Pressure” button. The side brush will increase the pressure on the ground to lift the garbage and ensure the cleaning effect.

(6) When the job encounters large volumes of garbage that cannot be inhaled by suction, such as cardboard boxes, bamboo baskets, etc., you can press the “Start and Stop” button to park it.

Then get off and pick up the trash, throw out the road cotton, and continue normal operations.

(8) During the operation, the water level of the tank (a water level indicator in the lower right corner of the carriage) should be checked frequently, and the tank water should be replenished in time to avoid water pump damage due to lack of water in the tank.

(9) In the cleaning operation, when it is necessary to turn or retreat, the cleaning operation must be stopped, the side brush should be retracted, and the wide brush and suction port should be lifted.

(10) During operation, the side of the vacuum hose that is not in operation shall be covered with a cover to ensure the sealing effect.

4, downtime

(1) Turn "Choose Case" to "Idle".

(2) Turn off the water spray, pressure, function switch first, and then press the "start and stop" switch.

(3) After the secondary engine runs for a few seconds under idling conditions, turn the ignition switch counter-clockwise to “OFF” position. When the charge indicator is on, release the key and the charging indicator light is off.

5. Waste discharge

(1) When the vehicle is driven to the garbage entry point and dumped, the rear wheels of the vehicle must be kept horizontal.

(2) Set the chassis shift lever to neutral, step on the clutch pedal, release the power take off switch, and release the clutch pedal.

(3) Move the manual handle on the right side of the valve block to fully open the rear door. Then move the left handle outwards and the box slowly rises to dump the garbage. If some of the rubbish is attached to the bulkhead, it can be cleaned with the attached tool and rinsed with water.

(4) Drop the box and close the rear door.

6, vehicle storage

(1) Rinse the inside of the bin, the suction cover, the filter, the rear door, the suction hose, the bumper, the suction mouth, and the bracket.

(2) At the time of storage, the lower end of the rear door should be opened 200-300mm so that the cabin is ventilated and dry and the sealing strip is not easily deformed.

(3) During storage in winter (referring to icing areas), water in storage tanks, pumps, and pipes should be drained to prevent freezing.

7, the use of the process of cleaning the road

(1) When lifting the box, you must hold the safety bracket.

(2) When the chassis air pressure is insufficient, the power take off device and the starter sub engine cannot be pressed.

(3) When the storage tank is waterless, the auxiliary engine is not allowed to start when there is no oil in the hydraulic tank.

(4) When the water tank is dry and the working hydraulic oil is insufficient, the operation is not allowed and the auxiliary engine is not allowed to start.

(5) When the auxiliary engine oil is insufficient, the auxiliary machine must not be started.

(6) The vacuum cleaner seat cover must be placed on the non-working side during the cleaning operation

(7) The clutch must be stepped on to press the power take off switch.

(8) Cleaning operations are not allowed when the rear lights are off.

(9) The auxiliary machine is not allowed to clean during acceleration.

(10) When discharging garbage, you must first open the rear door and then raise the box.

(11) The box cannot be lifted when the vehicle is tilted left or right.

(12) The cabinet should not be raised to the extreme position.

(13) When the box is raised, the vehicle is not allowed to drive.

(14) After the cabinet falls, be sure to press the power take off switch.

(15) No secondary engine and electrical equipment should be splashed when flushing the tank.

(16) The rear door can only be closed after cleaning the periphery of the cabinet tailgate.

(17) Do not retract the suction mouth, side brush, or wide sweep brush before retracting.
