The Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation recently issued the “Notice on Adjusting the List of Offshore Oil Exploitation Enterprises†and adjusted the list of offshore oil-extracting enterprises that previously enjoyed tax rebates for marine engineering structure VAT. "Notice" added three operating companies, namely China Offshore Oil Corporation in Liwan, Lishui, and Beibu Bay, as well as supervision and management technology of CNOOC Deep Sea Development Co., Ltd., CNOOC Energy Development Co., Ltd.'s oilfield construction Bohai Equipment Technical Services Branch and CNOOC Energy Development Co., Ltd. Branch, Tianjin CNOOC Energy Development Oilfield Facility Management Company. For the adjustment of the list of companies under CNOOC Foreign Cooperation Co., Ltd., 11 companies such as ConocoPhillips Tanggu Branch were added, and 12 companies such as Malaysian Overseas Oil and Japan Mining Corporation were deleted.
