Through long-term monitoring, the Environmental Protection Bureau of Hunan Province has identified the first batch of enterprises that have exceeded the emission standards for pollutants in terms of pollution factors and pollution emissions, and issued them in accordance with Article 17 of the Cleaner Production Promotion Law. Fourth Smelting Plant, Changning Kaitai Chemical Co., Ltd. , Songbai Fertilizer Plant, Changde Tianhong Paper Co., Ltd., Anxiang Zhongxin Paper Mill, Anxiang Guihua Paper Co., Ltd., Suining County United Paper Co., Ltd., Hunan Heli Chemical Fiber Co., Ltd., and Qijiang City Yuefu Paper Industry Co., Ltd., Nanxian Yinfeng Activated Carbon Co., Ltd., Hongjiang Paper Co., Ltd., Hunan Chenzhou Mining Co., Ltd., Wuyuan Huifu Chemical Fertilizer Co., Ltd., Zhangjiajie Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd., Zhangjiajie Tianfu Chemical Co., Ltd., Ganzhou Hualin Indium Industry Co., Ltd., Chenzhou Huaxin Plant, Hunan Zhenxing Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., East Manganese Group and other companies.
The Environmental Protection Bureau of Hunan Province requires these exposed companies to learn a lesson, formulate a compliance plan as soon as possible, meet the discharge deadline, and implement a mandatory clean production audit in accordance with the Interim Measures for Cleaner Production Audit. Enterprises that fail to implement mandatory cleaner production standards according to regulations will be punished according to relevant regulations.
On July 18, the Hunan Provincial Environmental Protection Bureau announced to the public the list of the first batch of 30 pollutant discharge enterprises in the province, of which 10 chemical companies, including Zhuzhou Chemical Group, were on the list.
