·Chinese car held its first ceremony in Ireland

On January 13th, SAIC Chase and its franchisees in Ireland and the United Kingdom, Harris Group, held the launching ceremony of SAIC Chase's “Land Business Class” at the West City Hotel in Dublin. Xu Jianguo, Ambassador of the Embassy of Ireland, and Xue He, Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Office, were invited to attend, Lan Qingsong, General Manager of SAIC Datong Company, and Harris, General Manager of Harris Group, Ireland attended the ceremony.
“Land Business Class” is a British automobile brand acquired by SAIC in 2009. It was born in 1896 and was selected as the British Royal Team. After 2009, it disappeared in the UK and Ireland markets. The launching ceremony marked the return of China's self-owned version of the brand's vehicles to the British-Italian auto retail market.
Previously, in September 2015, SAIC Chase successfully won the bid for Ireland's 260 commercial vehicles, and the first batch of vehicles were officially sent from Wuxi to Ireland, marking the Chinese automobile brand's “zero breakthrough” in large-volume orders from the EU government.
